Karan Johar Chooses Salman Khan For His Next Project Chakpak News Service on 27 Apr 2011 8:37 AM Karan Johar Filmmaker Karan Johar has chosen Salman Khan over Shahrukh Khan for his next Dharma Production venture Director Rensil D’Silva will be directing an untitled film that is in the lines of Ocean’s Eleven. And Karan Johar’s Dharma Production will be producing it. What’s interesting in that Karan Johar has surprising chosen Salman Khan instead of Shahrukh Khan for this film. The last time Salman Khan worked with Dharma production was inKuch Kuch Hota Hai Salman Khan (1998). The ice broke when Karan invited Salman to be a part of his talk show Koffee with Karan. The Khan readily agreed but at a price; Karan Johar had to make a donation to Salman’s foundation. Karan next approached Salman for the film. And finally, after thirteen years Salman Khan is back in the Dharma camp. A source reveals, “After Kurbaan, Rensil is directing a fantasy-action caper on the lines of Ocean’s Eleven. When Karan Johar heard the script, he absolutely fell in love with it. Both Karan and Rensil felt Salman was perfect for the main part.”
